John Park, a college student from Northbrook, Illinois sings “If I Ever Leave You Baby” by Donny Hathaway on American Idol Season 9 in Chicago.

Shania Twain said he had a beautiful bottom end and nice lips! He had a nice tone “down there” and he has a good head!.

Shania Twain Helps Pick Chicago’s Finest American Idol

SALT LAKE CITY – American Idol judges were in the mood to see what Chicago’s talent had to offer. Almost 12,000 hopefuls were on their way to stardom but according to many of the judges, only a chosen few were picked to continue to Hollywood.

Kaitlyan Epperly, 19 from Des Moines, Iowa, 16-year-old Charity Vance and Shania’s favorite hopeful, John Park from Northbrook, Illinois, were standouts who made the cut from Chicago’s auditions. Only 13 contestants were chosen from Chicago.

Angela Martin, a veteran ‘idol’ contestant, proved that she was the best out of the 12,000 people that auditioned in the windy city.

It was the third time that Angela has tried out for ‘American Idol.’ Last season, Angela made it to the top 50 in the Hollywood round, but was forced to drop out after she received a warrant to pay a traffic ticket.

American Idol Season 9 Audition Episode Airdate Schedules And Judges

Auditions were held in the following cities:

Paula Abdul will not return as a judge. Therefore, Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris and Kristin Chenoweth will be guest judges during the auditions. Fox chairman Peter Rice stated that they would find a permanent fourth judge before the season premiere in January, and on September 9, it was confirmed that Ellen DeGeneres would be joining the show as the new permanent fourth judge for the rounds held at CBS Television City and thereafter.

Simon Cowell will also be leaving American Idol after this season. No replacements have been confirmed for the judge though there have been suggestions of Mathew Knowles taking on the role.

Shania Twain is also getting cozy with Simon Cowell during her stint as a guest judge for American Idol’s Chicago auditions. “She’s loving American Idol. She’s having the best time,” says a source close to the singer, who is filling Paula Abdul’s vacant seat in this coming Chicago’s Audition to be aired on January 19, 2010. And hopefully she brings some much needed compassion to the table compared with Mary J and Victoria Beckham. Shania could actually be the person to bring some warmth and friendly criticism to the contestants, hmm… hope so.
