The addition continue, this time in Houston. The list of rejected aired acts were relatively small, compared to the acts that made it to Vegas. In all four acts were shown the door, and nine advanced on.

The first act to make it through was a group of singers called the The Texas Tenors. The three tenors sang “Mountain Music” by Alabama. Their harmonies were off at times and the singing was a little pitchy. David liked everything they did and thought they did a great job. Sharon thought they were still raw and needed more practice. Piers took a while to warm up to the act. All three judges voted them through to Vegas.

The second act to make it through acrobatic five man act called the Acrodunk. Their act consisted of jumping off a trampoline and slam dunking basketballs into a net. Their last stunt was the best. they would each take a turn doing a flip on the trampoline and bounce the ball for the next person to do the same thing with. This continued all the way down the line until the last person slam dunked it. David said they were the best he’d ever seen. Piers thought they had great music, energy and fantastic dunking. Sharon thought their energy was amazing and said she could watch them all night. All three judges voted yes and they were off to the Vegas.

The next act to make it to Vegas was a group of dancers called Live In Color. Their flashy wardrobe added a lot tp their overall act. David thought they did an excellent job. David and Sharon voted them through, but Piers’ vote was not shown.

The fourth act to make it through was a belly dancer named Anna Pipoyan. She added a little more pizazze to her act by dancing with a lite candelabra on her head. David thought her act was terrific. Sharon thought it was the best belly dancing that she has ever seen. All three judges voted yes, and she was off to Vegas.

The next act to make it was a rapper named Eclipse. David said they’ve never had a rapper on the show as good as him. All three judges voted yes, and he Eclipse was off to Vegas.

The sixth act to make it to the Vegas callbacks was an eight year old singer and keyboard player named Eleisha Miller. She sang “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner. David said was inspirational to all the kids out there, but stated that her singing needed a little work. Piers thought she was hilarious. Sharon thought she was such a delight but not a great singer at her age. Sharon voted no and was booed by the audience. Piers voted her through on her personality, not talent. David voted her through because of her personality as well. Odds are she won’t make it through the Vegas callbacks.

The next act to go through were twin brothers Lamar and Jamar Jefferson known as Timez 2, R&B singers. They sang “Yeah” by Usher. David liked their raw talent and energy and said they were terrific. Piers stated that he didn’t want to like them, but then stated they were quite good. Sharon said they needed to spend more time working on their vocals. Piers voted no, but Sharon and David voted yes and the twins were off to Vegas.

The eighth act to make it through was seventy five year old Grandma Lee, a comedian. Sharon loved her material and said he timing was great. Piers said that she may be his favorite contestant this season. David said her material is awesome and he delivery is perfect. All three judges voted her through to Vegas.

The last contestant to make it to Vegas was opera singer and cancer survivor, Barbara Padilla. She performed “O Mio Babino, Caro.” The audience, along with David and Sharon gave her a standing ovation. Piers thought she had an amazing voice and said she had great determination. Sharon thought they she was such an inspiration and that she was perfect. All three judges voted her through to Vegas.

The entire episode takes place in Los Angeles, a place where David Hasselhoff is sure has loads of talent. In all, eight acts went through and ten were sent home.

The first act to make it through came on the second day in Los Angeles. Bri, a seventeen year old singer, blew the audience and judges away with her version of “Burnin’ Up” by the Jonas Brothers. She not only sang, but she also performed on the keyboard. Piers thought she had raw talent and David said she did a great job. All three judges said yes and she was on her way to the Vegas callbacks.

The next act to go through was TJ & The Little Mamas. The dancers ages in range from six to nine. Although they made it through to Vegas, odds are they won’t make it to the short list. The were cute to look at, but their skill level wasn’t all there. David thought they were very very very good. All three judges gave them a yes.

The third act to make it through was Miss Germany. She performed a fire breathing act and other fire related stunts. She wowed the audience and the judges with her use of the fire. David said she was on hot mama. All three judges voted her through to Vegas.

The fourth act to make it through was Janice Martin, who had an unusual combination of talents. She sang while twirling in silks and then played the violin while hanging upside down. David thought she was awesome and Piers thought she was a good singer and violinist. All three judges voted her through to the next round.

Next up was the Scott Brothers, who performed their version of popping. David thought they were terrific. they brothers were spot on with each other and in total sync.

The sixth act to go through was the ICONic Crew. They were dancers that ranged in age from fourteen to thirty six. They showed a great deal of talent in the brief period that they were shown. All three judges voted them through to Vegas.

The seventh act to make it was a variety act known as Mario & Jenny. Mario juggled chainsaws that really worked. He shocked and amazed the audience and the judges. David thought he was terrific and Piers said they were born to be Vegas entertainers. they had perfect timing and instantly got everyone’s attention. All three judges voted them through to Vegas.

The last act to make it was a nervous Lawrence Beaman. He blew the judges and audience away by singing “Old Man River.” Piers said he was amazing, while Sharon thought he was one class act. He brought not only class, but grace and talent as well. He received a standing ovation and even a kleenex from Sharon Osbourne. All three judges voted him through to Vegas week.

The auditions started off in Houston and then headed Miami for the first time in the shows history. In total, seven acts made it through to Vegas, while eight were sent packing.

The first act to make it through was the Lake Houston Performing Arts Center. It consisted of a group of twenty seven girls ranging from eight to fourteen. They performed in near perfect choreography to “Shake Your Groove Thing” by Peaches & Herb. Piers thought their wigs totally worked with the outfits. Sharon thought they everything was just perfect. David thought they were the best act they’ve seen. All three judges gave them a yes and they were off to Vegas.

The second act to make it through was the dog dancing act of Pam & Viva Martin. Pam stated that she got Viva, now six, after her husband died and she helped her cope. They performed to “Boogie Shoes” by KC & The Sunshine Band. Viva and Pam danced around on stage while Viva performed tricks. Sharon thought they were fabulous and David thought they were the best dog dancing act that he’d ever seen. They made it through to Vegas with a yes from all the judges.

The next act to make it was a magical act by Joseph Constantine & KC. Joseph made his wife disappear and then reappear from inside a box. David didn’t know if his act was good enough for the next round. He also said that they’d already seen several of people perform this trick and they didn’t pass through, so it would be far. Sharon stated that she had seen the trick before, but not done by Joseph. Piers thought it was the best example of the trick that he’d seen. Joseph made it through to Vegas with a yes from Sharon and Piers, but with a no from David.

Next up was belly dancer, Fuchsia Foxxx. She managed to put huge smiles on Piers and David’s faces. David told her absolutely yes. All three judges gave her a yes and she was off to Vegas.

The fifth act to make it through was Circus R Us, which consisted of three girls from ages 10 to 34, who were Contortionists and hula hoop dancers. They made it through with a yes from all the judges.

Hurricane Tricksters, which was a group of five martial artists, were the next group to go to Vegas. Sharon thought they were fabulous and had beautiful bodies. The group is similar to Sick Step from season two. All three judges said yes and they were off to Vegas.

The final act to make it to Vegas on this show was Hairo Torres, a twenty three year old Contortionist break dancer who’s been practicing in his room for ten years. Hairo did unbelievable tricks and moves while he danced. Piers told him that very few acts leave him without words and that he was one of them. David thought he was absolutely terrific. Sharon thought he was unique. Hairo made it through with flying colors and three yeses.

As the auditions continue, the show first starts off in New York. Thousands have shown up for a shot at the million dollars. In total, eight acts made it through to Las Vegas callbacks and five were sent away.

The first act to make it through was sixty two year old Carol Lugo. The judges weren’t quite sure what to think of her until she started dancing. She broke out into a wild, spastic dance, which included doing the moonwalk. She impressed the judges enough, maybe by her age, to be sent through to Vegas.

The next act to make it was college student and yo-yo artist Joseph Harris, otherwise known as Yo-Yo Joe. His moves were spot on and impressive. Joseph became the first yo-yoer in the shows history to make it to Vegas week. Sharon thought he was great and David Hasselhoff thought he was unbelievable.

The third act to make it through was a dancing troupe called the Diva League, which was make up of all me, women, and four fierce drag queens. One of the drag queens managed to do the splits and freak out Nick Cannon. They made it through with a yes from David Hasselhoff and Sharon Osbourne. Piers Morgan’s vote was not shown.

The fourth person to make it through was a variety act by Chris Allison, otherwise known as Coney Island Chris. He impressed the judges by eating light bulbs and joking about it not hurting until it comes out a few days later. He not only amused people, but he also shocked them by eating it and fake blood coming out of his mouth.

Next up was magician twenty seven year old Jay Mattioli. He started off by making the microphone stand levitate about the ground and then by disappearing inside a box. He put a new spin on an old trick and it was enough to impress all the judges because they all voted his through to the next round.

Now the auditions switch to Chicago and the first to make it through was Thia Megia. Thia is a fourteen year old singer from California. She sang “I Am Changing” by Jennifer Holiday. As soon as she opened her mouth and belted out the first note, the judges were amazed. The audience, along with Sharon Osbourne gave her a standing ovation. David told her that she had a beautiful God given talent. Piers told her that she was the best singer in the competition yet. She make it to Vegas week with all three judges saying yes.

Next to go through was a sister clogging act called The Fab Five. They all dance with high energy and in near perfect sync with each other. David thought they were great. Sharon thought they were fab. Piers simply stated he liked them. All three judges voted yes and off to Vegas they went.

The final act to make it through was Kevin Skinner, a highly emotional country singer, who used to be a chicken catcher. He sang “If Tomorrow Never Comes” by Garth Brooks. Piers said that his performance was one of the most emotional and powerful performances that he’d seen in a long time. Sharon said he was a very genuine person. David said that he moved us and did a great great job. He made it through with all yeses and with Piers even stating he could even win the competition.

As the auditions continue, half of the amount of acts made it through this week compared to last. Only eight were lucky enough to make it the Vegas callbacks.

The first act to make it through was a yodeling dominatrix named Manuela Horn. The audience and the judges were not sure if what to think of Manuela because of the outfit and then the yodeling. Maybe she lost a bet. If she sticks to the comedic portion of her act, she might make it past the Vegas callbacks, but odds are not in her favor. All three judges voted her through to the next rounds. Piers thought she was very entertaining.

Next up are The Comic-Bots, a dancing robot band. There were people holding radio controllers while other people were in the heavy robot costumes pretending to be radio controlled. They are unique and original, but not energetic, which is ok being as robots aren’t supposed to be full of energy. Piers thought it was the weirdest thing that he has ever seen.

The third act to make it through was Tom Durnin, a dancing magician. He started off by doing a magic trick with rope and then busted out dancing to “I Like Big Butts” by Sir Mix-A-Lot. He started spitting small balls out of his mouth and sticking them to his glasses. the judges loved him and he was on to Vegas.

The fourth act to pass is G-Force, an all-girl child rock band. They were your typical rock band. Not too good and not too bad. America’s Got Talent has only seen a small number of bands to date and odds are they won’t make it past Vegas.

Erik & Rickie, a pair of eight year old dancers, passed through with all yeses from the judges. They’ve been dancing together for four years. They performed to “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner. Sharon thought they did really great and David thought they did a terrific job. They need to step it up in the Vegas callbacks if they have a shot at making the top 24.

Next up is Drew Thomas, a magician. He also passed through will all yeses from the judges. He had great skill and captivity as he made women appear from out of a box and under sheets. He kept the audience and judges entertained and fascinated at the same time. Sharon thought he was the best illusionist that she’d ever seen and Piers thought he had a serious chance of winning. David was excited about finally have a magician on the show with the potential of winning a million dollars. He has a lot of potential to make it through Vegas week and on to the next round.

The seventh act to move on were Alizma, a trio of blonde violinists. The women had more talent with the violin, than they did with their voices, although David Hasselhoff didn’t think so. They performed to “Devil Went Down To Georgia” by The Charlie Daniels Band. They need to step in up in order to make it through Vegas.

The final act, a young dancer named Arcadian Broad, passed through with a yes from every judge. He showed great skill with his ballet-style dancing, but other parts were forgettable. David and Piers both thought he was great and Sharon thought he had magnificent talent.

The new season started of with a bang and a fresh face. Nick Cannon seemed to fill the role perfectly in the two hour special premiere of the fourth season of America’s Got Talent. In all, sixteen acts made to the Vegas call backs and nineteen acts were sent packing. The auditions began in New york, then headed to Chicago and finally Seattle.

The first act to make it through were a dance troupe made up of inner city kids called FootworKINGz. The group performed an almost flawless routine, although it did lack stand out moves and technique. They passed through with all three judges voting yes. Sharon thought they were awesome and David said he liked their Chicago attitude.

The next act to make it through was Peter Peterkin, otherwise known as The Rock & Roll President. He made it through by doing a spot on impression of President Barack Obama and James Brown. He made it through with all three judges voting yes and with Piers Morgan commenting on how he’d never seen anyone else be able to impersonate the president so exact. Piers also thought he was fresh and exciting.

The third act that made it through was Blackfire Percussion, a group of drummers. The group brought a lot of energy and noise along with routine. The drummers ranged in age from eight to eighteen The odd of them making it through Vegas week is slim unless they a can step it up.

The next act to pass through was Anointed S., who is a Vocal percussionist. He showed the audience and the judges just how much control he has over his voice and different sounds he can make. Piers thought he was the best he’d ever seen.

The fifth act was a group of step dancers called the Unexpected Step Team. Although they lacked any signature moves, they did present a lot of energy and fast paced moves.

Next up was Tony Hoard & Rockin’ Rory, a dog Frisbee act. They had it through with all judges saying yes. Rory was spot on with all of his tricks and brought a lot of energy to the act. Piers thought that the act was the most incredible thing he’d ever seen.

The seventh act to make it through was a Brad Byers, who performed a sideshow act. Although Sharon Osbourne wasn’t too fond of the act and voted no, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff both voted yes. The act was painful to watch at times as Brad stuck a fishing hook through his nasal passage and then a power drill. There is a lot of potential for things to go wrong, but yet a wide variety of acts that he could try to pull off.

Next to make it through were the singing EriAm Sisters. The sisters were 11, 14, and 15 years old. They sang “I Want You Back” by the Jackson Five. Sharon thought they were fantastic and Piers told them to stay closer together on stage. All three girls sang in harmony and could make it past the Vegas callbacks. All three judges voted yes and the EriAm Sisters are off to Vegas.

The Jesse White Tumbling Team were the ninth act to make it through to Vegas week. They were full of excitement and energy. They showcased a variety of tumbling tricks and high flying acrobatics. The Jesse White Tumblers were joined on stage by Illinois Secretary of State himself, Jesse White.

The tenth act to make it through was the Urban Nation Hip Hop Choir. They sang “Celebrate Good Times” by Kool & The Gang. Although they didn’t stand out, they all sang in unison and sounded pretty good. If they want to make it through Vegas week, they need to work on standing out, and not just being another choir group.

The husband and wife fire act of Draconik were the next to pass through. They blew the judges and audience away with spitting fire and twirling a hula hoop while it was on fire. They have a vast variety of tricks that they could perform to fill up an hour long show in Vegas. They brought high suspense levels and thrills to the stage.

The next to make it through was a singer, and comedian named David Johnson. Once again, although Sharon Osbourne voted no, Piers, who had already xed him, and David both voted yes. He started off rough, but once he worked through the booing audience and started singing about his crush on David Hasselhoof, things turned around. David said he was honored and humbled that someone wrote a song about him and it’s too bad he had to be a man.

Bruce & Simone, aerialists, were the next group to make it through. This time, David Hasselhoff voted no, while Piers and Shannon voted yes. They showed that they had precision and strength as they wowed the audience. During Vegas week, they need to step it up and pick up the pace of their performance.

The fourteen group to make it to Vegas was the NYC Gay Men’s Chorus. As far as choir acts go they didn’t stand out at all. In order to become the first choir to ever make it to the top 24 acts, they need to step in up and throw in some unique stuff.

Next up was Paradizo Dance (Dave & Zoe), an equilibrium act. The duo was very impressive to watch and demonstrated a great deal of strength and grace. They took their time to perfect every position. Zoe who weighs only 100 pounds was about to lift Dave, who weighs 240 pounds. It was an amazing thing to see. They made it through with all three judges saying yes. Piers thought their act was on of the most extraordinary things he’d ever seen and Sharon thought they were fantastic.

The last act to pass through was the sister and brothers singing act called Voices of Glory. They sang “God Bless America.” They all sang in harmony and all in tune. They won the group over not only because of their voices, but because of the fact that they were what the competition was all about according to David. All three judges voted to send them through to Vegas.
