‘American Idol’: Randy Jackson Wants a Girl to Win in 2010

Randy Jackson in a raw CBS Interview said he does not want another Kris Allen, David Cook or Adam Lambert, but instead would rather have a girl win ‘American Idol’ this season.
“In my mind the biggest winners ever on American Idol have been girls,” said Jackson.
Jackson said Daughtry has done well too, but he said both Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have even sold more records.
Jackson is correct. Kelly Clarkson so far has been the highest selling ‘American Idol’ artist yet with four albums already under her belt. She has sold the highest number of albums worldwide. Carrie Underwood, however, is quickly gaining steam and had the highest selling album of any ‘American Idol’ artist in 2009 with her third album “Play On.”
